Miguel Announced for Tekken 7

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe began streaming an a trailer on Saturday to announce the new character Miguel for the Tekken 7 fighting game. Miguel first appeared in the franchise in the Tekken 6 game.

Bandai Namco Entertainment stated about the character, “the rebellious Spaniard has returned for Tekken 7 to continue his quest for revenge, looking for those responsible for his beloved sister’s death.”

Bandai Namco Entertainment describes the game’s story arc focusing on Claudio Serafino’s group of exorcists:

The Archers of Sirius are a group of exorcists who have been banishing supernatural entities from the world since ancient times. A highly secretive organization, its existence is unknown to the general public. Although it is unknown how their existence was subsequently revealed, the Archers of Sirius were suddenly approached by the Mishima Zaibatsu to join their conglomerate. The Archers of Sirius naturally refused but this did not stop the persistent pressure from the Mishima Zaibatsu and eventually the news of their unrelenting harassment reached the de facto leader of the Archers of Sirius, Claudio Serafino. Determined to uncover the motives behind the Mishima Zaibatsu’s aggressive recruitment tactics, Claudio begins to investigate the powerful conglomerate.

Tekken 7 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2017.
