Sea of thieves Gameplay Trailer Revealed at E3 2016

Today at the Microsoft E3 2016 Press Conference, Craig Duncan, Leader of Game Makers at Rare revealed a world premiere gameplay trailer of Sea of Thieves, an Exclusive Xbox One and Windows 10 title. The game features limitless adventures, and a co-op playstyle that makes all the players feel like a real pirate, navigating the seas, engaging in naval battles and finding treasure. The game features also the Xbox Play anywhere program where you can buy one game to play on both Microsoft’s Xbox One and PC systems.

Check out the gameplay trailer that features a naval battle and a cinematic intro:

“Be the pirate you want to be
With musket loaded and grog in hand, the freedom of the pirate life awaits. What will your legend be?

An epic multiplayer adventure
Crew up and set sail on memorable voyages. Make and break your pirate’s code on the sea of thieves.

A treacherous shared world
Plot your course and set sail for hidden riches. Navigate the perils of a fantastical world and the danger of rival crews.”

“Going into E3, we felt it was vitally important to show real gamers going hands-on with an early build of the game. As such, we invited some of our most-excited fans to visit Rare HQ to be the first in the world to play Sea of Thieves. The laughter, insults, and even unintentional marooning (sorry Abstractacas) in the resulting trailer were all genuine, emergent experiences unique to this particular crew’s adventure. Even after the first hour of gameplay, we heard our visitors excitedly recounting their epic triumphs and catastrophic defeats alike.” said Bobby ‘Death Beard’ Lamirande Community Manager of Sea of Theves.

“In all, E3 2016 kicked off with a black-powder bang for Rare. Over the next few days we’ll have thousands more players going hands-on with the game on the E3 show floor, and we’ll have plenty to say and share not just on our website, but on our Sea of Thieves social channels as well!”
