Fortnite’s holiday event is coming back as Epic Games “communicated an incorrect end date for the 14 Days of Fortnite event and did not feel the Equalizer Glider compensation was the right approach”. The developer has announced that the event will restart early next week and will be live until Januarty 15th at 3AM ET.
We’ll also be enabling some of the most popular Limited Time Modes that were available during the event.
Players who were unable to complete those Challenges will be able to earn all of the rewards they may have initially missed out on. All Challenges will be available to complete for the entire duration of the event. Unfortunately, progress on partially completed challenges has to be reset.
The 14 Days of Fortnite event will feature a new challenge with a new free reward every single day, large team modes switch every two days and small team modes rotate every 24 hours. Each day also brings both new and returning LTMs.
Save the World is also getting into the spirit with both returning and new themed enemies. Bring your friends and team up against the holiday husks on a winter map.
A new holiday quest unlocks every day and is added to your quest log, complete these to earn snowflake tickets to use in the store.
