E3 2018: Nintendo E3 Press Conference Overview

It was revealed today on the Nintendo E3 press conference, the name of their most-anticipated game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, along with new titles coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Here’s an overview of some of the games announced at the Nintendo E3 press conference:

Daemon X Machina

A brand-new, fast-paced mech action game from Kenichiro Tsukuda is coming to the Nintendo Switch system. Take your Arsenal, a fully customizable powered suit, out for an array of missions to surmount the enemy at all costs. Choose and equip your Arsenal with a multitude of weapons, obtain more from downed enemy Arsenals, and swap them on the fly to suit your strategy in the face of ever-changing threats.

Mario Tennis Aces

Unleash an arsenal of shots and strategies in all-out tennis battles with friends, family, and fan-favorite Mushroom Kingdom characters. Whether you play locally,* online,** or using simple motion controls, intense rallies await! In Adventure mode, level up Mario and thwart the wicked plans of Wario, Waluigi, and the legendary racket itself.

*Additional games, systems, and accessories may be required for multiplayer mode. Sold separately.

Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion

Play as an Octoling for the very first time in this large-scale downloadable content for the Splatoon 2 game! This full-on single-player adventure spans 80+ missions starring Agent 8, a new character who awakens on a dark subway platform. Navigate this mysterious underground test facility in a desperate battle to reach the surface of Inkopolis. Escape from these twisted depths, and you’ll finally be able to join multiplayer* matches as an Octoling!

Overcooked 2

Buddy up or go it alone as you cook up a storm, chopping, steaming and frying your way through dynamic and outright crazy levels. Now with online multiplayer for up to four chefs, there is no such thing as too many cooks and the steaks have never been higher as you prepare to save the Onion Kingdom… Again.

Killer Queen Black

Fly solo, or team up with three of your friends as you race to complete one of three possible victory conditions.

Killer Queen Black, a new take on the arcade eSport Killer Queen, has been rebuilt from the ground up and optimized for console. The gameplay is immediately recognizable and familiar, yet it introduces exciting new twists and online play for the home audience. Killer Queen Black is the follow up to Killer Queen that fans have been begging for.

Octopath Traveler

Eight travelers. Eight adventures. Eight roles to play in a new world brought to life by Square Enix. And now, you can enjoy all of them in the new demo available on Nintendo eShop. Step into the shoes and live the stories of each of the eight travelers and freely explore the world of Orsterra. Then, carry your choices and adventure into the main game with save data transfer.

Use each character’s special abilities in and out of battle. Break through enemy defenses by discovering and targeting weaknesses. Store Boost Points with each turn and then spend them at strategic times to strengthen abilities, chain attacks, or provide aid. Choose the path you wish to walk and discover what lies beyond the horizon.

Dragonball FighterZ

FighterZ maximizes high end anime graphics and brings easy to learn but difficult to master fighting gameplay. And on top of being playable on-the-go, this Nintendo Switch version also includes its share of exclusive features.
