This new IP was announced at the Level-5 Vision 2016 presentation, and it’s supposed to be a multimedia franchise spanning the game, an anime series, toys, and more.
This game is a collaboration between Level-5 and the fan favorite manga magazine Shonen Jump, so gamers can expect Shonen Jump influence in the game.
Twinfinite.net said in an article on their website:
“We get to see the main hero Yamato Ichigodoji and his companions, the rough Ryugo Hijakata and the serious Teru Asami. More characters showcased are classmate and heroine Yuka Nishino, and Musashi Project Leader Sayaka Minami.
Of course, the true star of the show is the Megaton-class Musashi mecha, that certainly appears to pack a lot of punch.
At the moment, we only know that the game will be an RPG, but platforms, release window, and price are all to be determined.
When the game was first showcased, it appeared to be running on 3DS and on at least one PlayStation platform, but since two years have passed and 3DS and PS Vita are riding towards the sunset, we’ll have to wait and see on this front.”
