Nintendo has officially announced the release date for their upcoming sequel Super Mario Maker 2 via Twitter. Players can expect to get the new title at the end of June which will allow for a summer full of creative minds making their very own Super Mario levels on their Switch consoles.

While we now have an officially release date, we should expect some more details to be revealed about the upcoming game. Some confirmations we do have about the game are the inclusion of slopes, auto-side scrolling adjustments and a Super Mario 3D World skin. Players can expect the new title to feature an online mode, as well.

Players who pre-order the game will also receive the very first official Nintendo stylus for the Switch which is available for both physical and digital pre-orders. And the Limited Edition bundle will come with the stylus as well as a one year subscription to Nintendo’s Online Subscription.

Super Mario Maker 2 is set to release on the Switch on June 28, 2019 with pre-orders set to go live very soon.
