It seems EA’s BioWare is losing one of its key members after 8 years of working at the studio on different projects. Ben Irving, lead producer behind Anthem has officially announced via Twitter that he is no longer part of BioWare team.
According to the tweet by Irving, he has received a new and interesting offer from another company which has convinced him to leave BioWare and put an end to his 8-year career in the studio. Unfortunately, Irving hasn’t revealed yet where he is going to work after all, but he promised a bright future for Anthem.
(1/3) After 8 amazing years at BioWare I have made the decision to move on and have accepted an exciting opportunity at another gaming company. Since the first time I played Baldurs Gate many many years ago, BioWare was the dream place I always wanted to work.

Last year in the same month, Patrick Soderlund, one of key members of EA’s Dice announced his departure from the studio and then founded Embark Studios. Irving has joined BioWare back in 2011 and aside from Anthem, he also worked on Star Wars: The Old Republic.
BioWare is currently working on a new entry for Dragon Age series, while a special team is supporting Anthem and improving its countless issues.
