With the release of Monster Hunter World’s massive expansion, Iceborne, last week, Capcom has released the official accolades trailer for the new experience. The newest trailer for the game shows viewers everything they may be missing with the scores showing that the expansion is a worthy purchase for those craving more monster slaying action in the acclaimed release of the Monster Hunter World.
Check out the new accolades trailer for Iceborne below:
The new expansion offers up tons of new content and features for the already massive title. Players will explore a brand new area called Hoarfrost that’s littered with returning and new monsters in the massive experience. Along with the new expansion was also a new free update for the game which offers up a variety of new content to the game.
In other recent news surrounding Iceborne, Capcom also revealed that the iconic monster Rajang will be making its way over to Iceborne this coming October. The new Rajang update will be landing on the PS4 and Xbox One version as the PC version of Iceborne won’t be released until January 2020.
Other news also revealed that PS4 players will be able to get their hands on a new Horizon Zero Dawn crossover event for the Iceborne expansion. PS4 players previously were able to participate in the original Horizon Zero Dawn event in Monster Hunter World shortly after it released early on in 2018. The new event will allow players to once again play as Aloy but this time wearing her icy armor and equip weapons exclusive to the DLC from the Frozen Wilds which seems to blend perfectly with the Iceborne expansion.
Previously, shortly after Monster Hunter World initially released on the PS4 and Xbox One in January 2018, Sony and Capcom collaborated on several exclusive events, such as Street Fighter V and Horizon Zero Dawn. Within the Horizon Zero Dawn crossover event, players would be able to unlock Aloy as a playable hunter, as well as some of her armor from the game, equipping her bow and unlocking Palico armor that resembled a machine from the Horizon Zero Dawn title.
The Frozen Wilds DLC released in late 2017 for Horizon Zero Dawn which featured a frozen tundra to the north of the base game map and featured new exclusive armor, weapons and more. The Iceborne collaboration will feature a few of the DLC items unlocked during the DLC campaign.
Monster Hunter World: Icebrone is currently available on the PS4 and Xbox One with a PC release slated for January 2020.
