, the spiritual successor to the FlatOut series, released their big winter update today. The update includes tons of new free and paid content for players to enjoy this holiday season.
The most exciting part of the update is two new tracks for players to race on. The first one is Vale Falls Circuit and takes place on a dirt track in the middle of a forest. The second one is Hellride and has a Texan theme to it while taking place on a stadium track.
There have been a lot of changes to the in-game lobbies as well. The most noticeable change is the map voting system, which a lot of players felt like the game needed. Players can also customize their cars while waiting in a multiplayer lobby. For those racers who want to play games with their own rulesets, a brand-new player hosted, public server system has been implemented.
The Modified Monsters Car Pack is the new paid DLC that got added to this update. For only $3.99 players can get their hands on the Dragslayer, Bugzilla, Killerpig, Wardigger, and the Pocket Rocket. For gamers who already have the Season Pass, they will get access to these cars for no extra charge. If players want to have access to all 20 new cars, 20 special roof decorations, and additional car customizations that will be made available through the Season Pass, they can pick it up now for $22.99.
There are also new bug and balance patches that are a part of this update. Be sure to check them out on THQ Nordic’s official site.
Even though Wreckfest only launched with a limited amount of cars, tracks, and customization items, it is starting to feel like a fully fleshed-out game with everything added so far and plenty more on the way.
