EA Play is usually hosted before E3, the event was created to showcase a deeper looks into EA’s upcoming games, experiences, and content from some of the best creators in the community. Traditional EA Play lasts three days, is still uncertain how will the event be organized to stay interesting and relevant as entertainment via community creators takes a big part of the event.
There is also the COVID-19, which is proving to be a real hassle for game studios, is probable that all the announcement meant to take place at E3 will be disclosed at EA Play 2020.
EA is also participating in the new Summer Game Festival, an all digital event that will replace this year cancelled E3. Summer Game Festival is a four months celebration where 16 of the giants in the industry will make their biggest announcements for 2020.
