PlayStation Plus Free Games July’s line up is close to be announced, Sony today revealed Call of Duty: WWII as one of the featured titles, but a new rumor may suggest that Sony is ready to offer another big title. Spotted on the PlayStation Store, the Standard edition of the Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man was listed for free for PlayStation Plus owners.

Leaked in the PlayStation Store UK, the Standard Edition of the game features a PS Plus Logo with the free next to it. But this may not indicate that Marvel’s Spider-Man is actually coming for free, Forbes explains that a bug has been showing up lately, when a game is added to the PS Now streaming service, the PlayStation Plus logo will appear on the game listing in the PlayStation Store.
Insomniac Games Marvel’s Spider-Man launched in 2018 and was the top seller in the game charts of multiples countries, the PS4 exclusive was the fastest selling game in the UK for its launch year.
Marvel’s Spider-Man follows Peter Parker, a 23-year-old college graduate and lab assistant who gained superhuman abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider. Peter is in his eighth year of crime-fighting under his super heroic alter ego of Spider-Man, who has become highly experienced at this point, but struggles to balance his superhero and personal lives.
Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, and Marvel have teamed up to create a brand-new and authentic Spider-Man adventure. This isn’t the Spider-Man you’ve met or ever seen before. This is an experienced Peter Parker who’s more masterful at fighting big crime in New York City. At the same time, he’s struggling to balance his chaotic personal life and career while the fate of millions of New Yorkers rest upon his shoulders.
