Hello Games announced today that No Man’s Sky will be arriving to Xbox Game Pass in June, the game features a procedurally-generated universe and a fully-fledged multiplayer mode.
Hello Games also announced that in June No Man’s Sky will arrive for PC through the Microsoft Store. “Our PC fanbase has always been among our most active and devoted and we are overjoyed to be able to count Windows 10 PC gamers among them for the first time very soon.” Said Sean Murray, Programmer at Hello Game.
For those who have already jumped into No Man’s Sky on Xbox One, I want to say thank you for being on this journey with us these past few years. Our small team have many more exciting things to come and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
In No Man’s Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by a living breathing planets, players can go to any of them. The game allows players to fly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens. As the game is procedurally generated, players will discover places and creatures that no other players have seen and perhaps will visit place to be seen once in a lifetime.
Players take the role of the Traveller, he will wake up on a remote planet with amnesia, is up to the players to locate their crashed startship, when found, the Traveller will have to bring the necessary materials to repair the startshi and make a jump to another planetary system. Players will soon face one of the three alien dominant species, the Gek, the Korvax or the Vy’een.
The game received a very well received update that added multiplayer mode, developers also added Anomaly, a hub which can be summoned at any point in space and from which a huge array of cooperative missions can be embarked upon for in-game rewards.
