Following the multimillion acquisition of Zenixmax Media, Xbox Game Studio is certainly eager to get some of its investment back, Fallout New Vegas 2 has likely been chosen as the game to regain attention to the franchise after the disappointing launch of Fallout 76.
Fallout New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the game is critically acclaimed as one of the best games in the franchise. McVicker did not add details on who has been appointed as the development team in charge of the sequel.
McVicker was known for his accurate information on the Valve News Network, the insider decided to rename the brand as he is now revealing more information from different studios other than Valve. Being said this, the information revealed by McVicker is still a rumor, Xbox Game Studio has no confirmed any future projects related to Fallout or The Elder Scrolls, so take this information with a grain of salt.

If Obsidian is doing it, then sure. There’s no chance it’s coming from Bethesda. They really only work on one thing at a time and they aren’t going to stop working on Starfield with only a year or two to go and further delay Elder Scrolls 6. They really need to expand the studio to have mutliple projects going full blast at the same time. I’d like to play more than 1 or 2 Fallout or Elder Scrolls games before I die.
