Hollow Knight: Silksong Delayed Again, Has “Gotten Quite Big”

Team Cherry marketing and publishing representative Matthew Griffin recently commented on the Hollow Knight: Silksong development progress, saying that the game will no longer release in its previously planned “first half of 2023” release window, but also stated that the game had “gotten quite big,” and for fans to expect more details closer to launch. Hollow Knight: Silksong will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Humble Store.

We had planned to release in the 1st half of 2023, but development is still continuing. We're excited by how the game is shaping up, and it's gotten quite big, so we want to take the time to make the game as good as we can.
