Signs of a Pal that looks eerily similar to Pokemon’s Mega Mewtwo Y has been uncovered in the Palworld game files by a dataminer. Several Palworld players online have also been quick to point out the similarities between the datamined creature and Mewto. The Pal, called “The Dark Mutant” was found by dataminer fan Brian Cozzens, and is seemingly a Dark-type, that will have the Level 3 Handiwork, Level 3 Medicine Production, and Level 2 Transporting work skills. The entry text for the Pal states that it can “tear holes into other dimensions.” Its worth noting this isn’t the first time the survival RPG has been accused of plagiarizing Pokemon monster design similarities, for which the Pokemon Company recently made a public statement that it uses to investigate the game and its developer. Palworld launched for early access on January 19 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It sold over a million copies in its first 8 hours of release. Palworld is developer Pocketpair’s incredibly popular monster collecting open world game that has been a recent massive success with over 8 million copies sold and 2 million peak concurrent players on Steam.

Palworld is a game about living a slow life with mysterious creatures “Pal” or throwing yourself into life-and-death battles with poachers.

Breeding and Heredity – When you breed Pals, they inherit the parents’ characteristics. Mix rare species Pals to raise the strongest Pals!
Poaching and Crime – Endangered species Pals live in the hunting prohibited area. If you sneak in and catch them, you’ll get tons of money! It’s only illegal if you get caught.
