Hearing that the widely rumored Final Fantasy 9 remake is in development isn’t much of a surprise but it is worth noting that these claims have now been corroborated by a leaker with a great track record. However, these are still rumors that should be taken with a grain of salt. The latest release in the franchise, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launched on February 25 and is available now for PlayStation 5. According to new information from interviews published on the Final Fantasy VII Remake Ultimania Book, the story for the third part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake “has already been completed.”
