Dead by Daylight Adds Lara Croft As a Playable Survivor

Behaviour Interactive has released a new video announcing that Lara Croft will join Dead by Daylight as a playable character via a new Tomb Raider collaboration. She will come with new Perks such as Finesse, which makes your vaults faster when healthy. The character is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.

The collaboration’s details via the game’s website:

Memories of branches tearing through her flesh. Of rushing water flooding her lungs. Of brushes with death, and so many more to come.

Whether facing the perils of the supernatural or the extremes of nature, Lara Croft epitomizes survival instinct.

LARA CROFT’S LORE

When the opportunity arose for an expedition to the island of Yamatai, Lara Croft jumped at the chance. On the voyage, their ship hit a storm and scattered the expedition across the shore. Pursued by the nefarious Solarii Brotherhood, Lara sought cover in a river of blood. As she swam, dozens of limbs reached out at her, pulling her under. It was as if the river was alive. She kicked and struggled to reach the surface. At last, she emerged from the sick viscera into an entirely new nightmare.

Dead by Daylight details:

Death Is Not an Escape.

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and killed.

Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.

The Survivors’ goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer – something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.
