Ubisoft Confirms It Has “Started an Exploration Phase on the Rayman Brand”

Following the recent reports of a Rayman game getting a remake with series creator Michel Ancel being involved, Ubisoft has now confirmed this could be true. In a recent Twitter post Game File’s Stephen Totilo claimed that “Ubisoft Montpellier and Ubisoft Milan have recently started an exploration phase on the Rayman brand,” and that “the project is still in its early stages”. Additionally Ubisoft says “As creator of the Rayman brand, Michel Ancel is being consulted to ensure consistency within the universe.” While these statements don’t confirm that that a remake is in development, it confirms that it could be a possibility.
