A Days Gone Remaster is Seemingly in Development

According to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, Sony is working on another remaster aside from the rumored Horizon Zero Dawn remaster that is “even less exciting”. And according to recent statement from VGC’s Jodan Middler, the upcoming title in question may be Days Gone. Quoting a tweet highlighting Grubb’s statement, Middler hinted at the game’s remaster. “If he was angry that his character is in Astro Bot, he’s going to lose his mind at this,” said Middler, referring to Days Gone creative director John Garvin’s recent statement regarding Days Gone’s inclusion in Astro Bot. Its worth noting these claims have yet to be confirmed by Sony. Days Gone first launched on April 26 for PlayStation 4.

The game’s details via the publisher can be seen below:

Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic.

Step into the dirt flecked shoes of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter trying to find a reason to live in a land surrounded by death. Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.
