A gameplay clip of an upcoming Need for Speed game has seemingly leaked on Reddit. The footage shows a high-octane car crash amidst an obstacle, along with impressive visual effects. The footage also seemingly confirms the report from EA earlier in May stating that a new game in the series would be released in 2022. Additionally, according to Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb, the game will reportedly launch in December.
His statement regarding the game’s release window:
“They delayed it to December, one month. They’re going to take a few extra weeks before showing it off. It seems that Criterion just got sidetracked a little bit, way back when it was working on Battlefield and that had a ripple effect.”
