Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studio have released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming A Plague Tale: Innocence just three weeks ahead of launch in order to showcase more of the games mechanics and environment which seems to be brutally dark and somehow scary.
A Plague Tale: Innocence follows the story of two siblings that are trying to survive in the middle of a cruel war between nations, while a deadly disease has spread all over the European countries. The game will put you in the shoes of Amicia to start your dark a dangerous journey with your little brother throughout the cities that have been taken over by the enemies.
During the gameplay, while you have to avoid being seen by the enemies using different stealth mechanics, you should sweep hungry hordes of mouse away from your way in order to survive and keep yourself healthy. Along with different abilities and items that have been provided to sneak around the guards, sometimes you need to solve some smart puzzles to keep your progress in the game. While most of the time you should move slowly and pass behind the guards, player also has the ability to take down the enemies quietly. Here you can check out the full trailer for the game:
A Plague Tale: Innocence will be launching on May 14th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
