Respawn Entertainment’s CEO Vince Zampella has just confirmed a premium Titanfall game will be releasing later this year.
Yesterday EA released a battle royale game based on the Titanfall universe called Apex Legends and according with Respawn Entertainment Producer Drew McCoy Titanfall 3 is not in development, and tells that Respawn it’s focused on selling loot boxes as it’s “the perfect plan for marketing”, so we can deny the posibility of this “Premium” Titanfall game would be what fans are asking for.
On Twitter, CEO Vince Zampella teased there is more than just Apex Legends in Respawn’s future, saying “We are also working on more Titanfall for later in the year.” He continued by saying “We love being able to experiment in this crazy universe!”
IGN has reached out to EA for comment.
Tons of things planned for @PlayApex in the future. We are also committed to listening to player feedback.
We are also working on more Titanfall for later in the year (yes, I said the T word). We love being able to experiment in this crazy universe!

CEO Zampella makes me a bit nervous when he says another experiment with the Titanfall franchise is coming, but we’ll have to wait and see what’s about, keep it tuned to Gaming Instincts for the latest news from Respawn Entertainment and EA.
