Best Buy May Have Leaked Unannounced Switch Games
It appears that Best Buy has leaked a series of unannounced Switch titles through their employee terminal web page. Metroid Prime Trilogy, Persona 5 and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past have all been scouted on the company’s terminal page, though, Nintendo has yet to announced any of these titles. Nintendo does owe its fans some Metroid content after announcing a massive delay to Metroid Prime 4, Persona will seem more fitting on a Nintendo console after Joker makes his Super Smash debut and releasing two remade classic Zelda games would definitely keep Nintendo loyalists coming back for more, so the move isn’t exactly out of the realm of possibility. As for now, take this rumor with a grain of salt until we hear further confirmation.
Along with these big leaks also came another leak from reliable insider Stealth. The insider apparently has information on both Twilight Princess HD and Wind Waker HD heading over to the Switch’s eShop. Again, these are all just rumors, so stay tuned for anymore details that may surface.
Rumored Destiny 3 Info Leaked, Destiny 2 Enters Third And Final Season
According to Destiny insider ShadowAnonTheNine, Bungie is well underway with their production of Destiny 3. The leak states that the story will dive deep into the lore of the franchise providing a much more appealing narrative and include the new race, The Veil. Along with the massive leak about Destiny 3, Bungie is also apparently gearing up for the third and supposedly final year for major content to hit Destiny 2. A new Annual Pass is set to arrive this year, with the first portion of the pass being much larger than any of the others. While this is all merely speculation, AnonTheNine – and his counterpart ShadowAnonTheNine – are risking their credibility with these leaks, so they may not be too far off from the truth. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass Bundled Subscription Leaked
In a week full of leaks, it seems that Microsoft is planning a bundled subscription plan for Xbox One owners that combines Xbox Live and Xbox Game Pass for an incredibly low cost of $14.99/month. The leak goes on to detail that Xbox Insiders will receive the new bundle for $1/month until the bundle officially releases. As for now, this is just a rumor, so until we receive an official announcement take this information lightly.
Super Mario Odyssey and Breath of the Wild Receive Labo VR Support
Nintendo revealed that two of their biggest Switch titles, Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will both be receiving Labo VR Goggle support. Both titles look to fully immerse Switch owners within their vibrant worlds sure to create a new experience for the highly acclaimed franchises. The Labo VR support will arrive as a free update on April 26, 2019.
Next Assassin’s Creed Title Rumored Viking Setting
Finally, it seems The Division 2 has leaked the next Assassin’s Creed setting in an easter egg in the form of an in-game poster. The poster displays what looks like an assassin gripping a spherical object that looks like an Apple of Eden. A reliable source from Kotaku has also confirmed that the next entry will not only release in 2020 with what many assume will be the release of the next gen consoles, but will in fact feature a viking setting. While this is all just rumors, it does seem like it’s coming from relatively reliable sources.
