Akiba’s Beat Debut Trailer – PS4 & PS Vita

Akiba’s Beat Debut Trailer – PS4 & PS Vita

Akiba’s Beat is being directed by Kohta Takano and character designs are by UCMM. Both previously worked on the smartphone game Divine Gate, which received an anime adaptation earlier this year. The theme song titled “again” is performed by J-pop duo ClariS, best known for the theme songs to the anime Madoka Magica and Oreimo.

The game is of course set in a recreated version of Akihabara, Tokyo’s anime, gaming, and electronics district, where a 19-year-old NEET and college drop-out Asahi Tachibana and his friends get stuck in a delusion-filled world where Sunday repeats. Together they will fight these delusions in dungeons thanks to special headphones that grant unique combat abilities.

Akiba’s Beat will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this fall in Japan.

Check out the Trailer:
