Akiba’s Beat ‘Riyu Momose’ Character Trailer

Acquire have released a new character trailer for Akiba’s Beat, this one focusing on Riyu Momose.

Riyu Momose is a 14 year old idol often known as Rippyon (voiced by Erii Yamazaki). She is based in Akihabara where she holds mini concerts and meet and greets for fans. Just like the game’s protagonist, she too has encountered an eroded delusion.

The game takes place in Akihabara and stars protagonist and NEET Asahi Tachibana, living a regular life after deciding to drop out of college. The game’s secondary character, Saki Hoshino, recently moved to the area, and runts into Asahi. Other characters in include Japanese idol Riyu Momose, the very young looking Yamato Hongo. The game involves the party getting stuck in a world of delusions, trapped in a repeating day long cycle on a Sunday. The party also keeps coming across a strange, unidentifiable man in a pink sash, that always seems to be around when unexplainable incidents occur.

Akiba’s Beat is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this fall in Japan and winter 2016 in North America.

Check out the Trailer:

“As you might expect, Riyu is always cheerful and loves being an idol to bring smiles and hope to everyone. She cares a lot about her fans, which will likely be one of the main reasons she’ll join Asahi in the journey of saving Akihabara.”
