Alan Wake 2 DLC Reveal Seemingly Teased for Summer Games Fest

Remedy Entertainment recently took to Twitter to tease an upcoming announcement for Alan Wake 2. The account posted an image with the logo for Poison Pill Entertainment and referencing Night Springs City. The publisher previously announced that Alan Wake 2 will receive two expansions titled Night Springs and The Lake House, and it seems this recent tweet is teasing an announcement related to the former. Additionally, event creator and organizer Geoff Keighley made a related tweet which might mean this announcement may be made at Summer Games Fest. Alan Wake 2 launched on October 27, 2023, and is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Epic Games Store. The game has sold over 1.3 million copies worldwide.

Alan Wake 2 details via the publisher:

A string of ritualistic murders threatens Bright Falls, a small-town community surrounded by Pacific Northwest wilderness. Saga Anderson, an accomplished FBI agent, arrives to investigate. Meanwhile, Alan Wake, a lost writer trapped in a nightmare beyond our world, writes a dark story in an attempt to shape the reality around him and escape his prison. Anderson and Wake are two heroes on two desperate journeys in two separate realities, connected at heart in ways neither of them can understand. Trapped in a sinister horror story where there are only victims and monsters, can they break out to be the heroes they need to be?
