Albion Online Update “Elaine” Takes You Into the Highlands
It was announced by German Developer Sandbox Interactive, that their MMORPG Albion Online, currently in its Final Beta Phase, will receive a new exciting update, called “Elaine”. The content update gives players access to the highlands, a whole new biome with sprawling plateaus, streams and waterfalls to explore. But this beautiful new landscape doesn’t just offer a new look – it is also the home of the Keepers, the ancient race of giant humans returning to Albion thanks to Elaine. And of course with the Keepers come never-before-seen Keeper Artifact Items.
Check out the Elaine update trailer of Albion Online, showcasing the update’s features:
“Add the 21 brand new Hell Artifact Items, which are also part of the Elaine Update, and you get a total of 28 new powerful, unique Artifact Items ready to be crafted by players. In addition to The Highlands, the return of the Keepers and the new items, Elaine also introduces a number of other fixes and changes to the game, like more appropriate creatures for the swamp biome, to further improve on the rich feeling and rewarding gameplay of Albion Online.
What is Albion Online?
Albion Online is a sandbox MMORPG from Sandbox Interactive, set in the medieval fantasy world of Albion. Whether playing a hardened fighter, a farmer, a merchant or a master craftsman, in the player-driven world every single weapon and every single building is created by the players. Thanks to a “you are what you wear” system free of typical class restrictions, a skilled archer can instantly become a powerful mage, and the players define their own role within the game world. PvE, PvP or the battle guild vs guild, every action in the game has a meaning … as well as consequences. PvP battles in the danger zones of the game world are a “winner takes all” affair. Albion Online is the first PC game to enable the exact same experience on tablets.
