From Klabater and Carbon Studio, Alice VR takes you to the desert planet of Speculo, where a simple search for fuel suddenly takes a completely different turn. Discover the secrets of this seemingly abandoned world when the game releases on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and OSVR in October 2016.
Despite its name, will not require players to use VR headsets, but it will come ready for Oculus DK2 as well as Oculus Touch when it comes out. They are also working on an “HTC Vive version of the game” and say that Razer OSVR support will be in the future.
As with a lot of VR-based games, Alice VR will not be very long. Carbon Studio says the game will be around 3 hours long, but that it will take multiple playthroughs to experience the entire story.
Check out the Trailer:
“The idea of the game was originally created when Carbon Studio took part in a competition VR JAM organized by Oculus Rift and Unity. The studio prepared a short exploration game A.L.I.C.E. dedicated to Samsung Gear VR. After reaching the final stage of the competition and receiving lots of positive responses, Carbon Studio have decided to develop the idea of A.L.I.C.E even further, and a new game, ALICE VR, has been announced. This time, ALICE VR is heading to the PCs equipped with Oculus Rift.”
