E3 is less than a month away and most of the usual suspects have already confirmed their presence at this year’s event. However, with the absence of Sony for the first time in the event’s history, it’s easy to acknowledge that we probably won’t be receiving any next-gen PlayStation news for the event in June.

While that may be mostly true, a new tweet from AMD – who provides essential tech for both the next-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles – suggests that we may still get a little more details regarding new hardware.
AMD has confirmed they’ll be holding their own press conference at this year’s E3 titled ‘Next Horizon Gaming’ and note that they’ll dole out information on next-gen experiences for the foreseeable future. While the finger doesn’t exactly point towards a console reveal of any kind, it may be a great opportunity to explain a little more about the AMD tech that the next-gen consoles may be equipped with.
The press event at E3 is scheduled to take place on June 10, 2019 at 3PM PT/6PM ET. Be sure to tune in for exciting new details on the rising tech that will most likely be included in both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett/Anaconda.
