Javelins from Anthem

Anthem – All Abilities and Javelins Showcased

Earlier today EA and Bioware have updated their website showcasing all of their 4 Javelins including the Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor and Storm and all of their abilities in both a textual format and a visual format. Here at Gaming Instincts we’ve decided to put them all under one 2-3 minute video so you can have a peek at yourself. Anthem is a very highly anticipated game that’s being developed by BioWare’s Edmonton team, which was the same team responsible for Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3. Meanwhile, Mass Effect Andromeda was being made by a different team over at BioWare and suffered major development problems and has questionable decisions that really tanked the company’s name.

We’re deeply hoping that Anthem will push the Edmonton team to the limit and show the public that BioWare still have their magic when it comes to making epic story-driven game with interesting and deep lore. Yes, Anthem is mostly a multiplayer game, but despite that developers are hoping to deliver great story-telling in a multiplayer world that can be played either solo or with 3 other friends.

There are plenty of concern and questions that the fans and the industry has in regards to Anthem, particularly it’s post-launch plans and end-game content. Games like the Destiny and The Division franchise had huge issues when it came to retaining their player-base or keeping the fans entertained. Bungie especially had questionable business decisions and extremely unfair anti-consumer practices over the recent times.

Anthem will be releasing early next year on February 22nd, and those who pre-order will be able to play an early pre-launch demo on February 1st as well. Let us know what you think of Anthem and what are your hopes and dreams for BioWare’s next title in the comment section below.
