But this 50 million number really does need to be recognized for the absolutely stunning feat that it is. We don’t have a new concurrent number as best I can tell, though at 25 million it was 2 million concurrents, so it could be close to double that now.
To answer your next question, Apex is still a ways off from Fortnite’s supposed 200 million players by last count, but it took the game well over a year to reach that point. Apex has hit 50 million in a month and that’s without really any major additions or changes to the game yet, short of a single new gun added in the past month.
In Apex Legends there are defining features that makes an unique battle royale experience, players don’t jump into the map alone, they do it in squads, and players have unique skills that can be leveled up.
In Apex Legends players will take the role of legendary characters with powerful abilities and team up to battle for fame and fortune on the fringes of the Frontier.
