Respawn Entertainment announced today that Apex Legends will launch on Steam on November 4, 2020.
Respawn also confirmed that Season 7 of Apex Legends will start on November 4, players on origin can easily switch back and forth with Steam, all the account progression and unlocks will be carried over between platforms. As a celebration of the event, Steam users will receive free exclusive Portal and Half-Life inspired gun charms for logging in during Season 7. Datamined data from Respawn might indicate what’s next for the popular battle royale game, Horizon is the all new legend coming to the already impresive rosters of characters, she was teased on the Firing Range, where Horizon revealed her name and that she’ll joning us soon.
Dataminers managed to find what are her abilities:
- Passive: Soft Landing – Avoid fall stuns and gain some kind of buff when landing
- Tactical: Repulsor/Gravity Lift – Displaces/Elevates players near point of contact (i.e. the Gravity Lift)
- Ultimate: Black Hole – Sucks in and damages enemies
Official information from Respawn is scarce, but the developmen team has been revealing some information like the Pathfinder’s grapple cooldown, a balance requested by the community.
Back in Season 5 Pathfinder’s grapple made him an extremely popular character, however, on Season 6 developers changed the cooldown from 15 seconds to nearly 40 seconds, it’s expected that the character is redesigned to have its cooldown somewhere in the middle.to around 40 seconds.
