Assassin’s Creed Liberation Will Be Leaving Steam Soon

Ubisoft recently announced that a number of its titles will have their online servers decommissioned along with their DLC. One of the recent games includes Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, the remastered version of the original 2014 game Assassin’s Creed Liberation, which will be taken off Steam on September 1 “at the request of the publisher.” However, Ubisoft has said that owners of the game will still be able to play and redownload the game after its servers are shut down. To no one’s surprise, the publisher has been receiving a negative response from players for this, and the game’s Steam rating now sits at “Overwhelmingly Negative.”Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD’s details via its Steam page can be seen below:
