In a recent interview with Wccftech, Assassin’s Creed Mirage narrative director Sarah Beaulieu revealed that the upcoming game will allow players to assassinate targets in whatever order they wish as opposed to the linear system of assassinating targets one at a time in a specific order seen in previous titles in the series. Additionally, increasing your Hidden Ones rank by assassinating targets will not affect which target you can go for afterward. “You can do every target the way you want in the order that you want without having made any progress [with the Hidden Ones’ rank]. You can do anything.” Said Beaulieu. Lastly, players will also be able to unlock new tools and weapons for Basim each time they kill a target. “Every time you kill a main target and you go back to the bureau, you report to the Rafiq and you get to choose one of the tools.”
