Assassin’s Creed: Rogue Remastered Now Available
This morning Ubisoft released the launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered, which launched today on PS4 and Xbox One.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue debuted in November 2014 as the previous-generation counterpart to the ill-fated Assassin’s Creed Unity. It was the last entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise to be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and remained exclusive to those consoles until March 2015, when Ubisoft brought it to Windows PC. Assassin’s Creed Rogue tells the story of Shay Patrick Cormac, a New Yorker of Irish descent who starts out as a member of the Assassin brotherhood.
The remaster of Assassin’s Creed Rogue is being developed by Ubisoft Sofia, the same Bulgarian studio that made the original game. It will run in 4K on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X, according to Ubisoft’s announcement.
What’s more is that Assassin’s Creed Rogue is also going to contain all of the original’s downloadable content and expansions, including the two bonus missions The Armor of Sir Gunn, and The Siege of Fort de Sable. Not to mention, ACR Remastered each and every weapon, outfit, and customization item in the Master Templar and Explorer packs, in addition the hero Bayek‘s legacy outfit from the franchise’s most recently released installment, Assassin’s Creed Origins.
