Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey – First PS Vita Gameplay

Gust released a new video giving us a first look at some gameplay footage of the PlayStation Vita version of Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey.

In the video, we get to see an example of the PS Vita version of the game with a look at some gathering and a battle while exploring the fields. The next part shows a little scene where Drossel Weissberg frustrates Revy Berger by asking if he’s some kind of entertainer. He asks if he looks like an entertainer, to which she responds with “yeah, that’s why I asked!” After telling her that he’s a swordsman, she just assumes that he’s “that kind of entertainer,” which further frustrates the wandering swordsman.

We can also apreciate the battle system and some skills.

Atelier Firis: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Journey releases in Japan on November 2, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Check out the Trailer:

“The second part in the Mysterious trilogy, Atelier Firis, follows the journey of a young alchemist through an exciting and colorful world. While Firis travels, she learns more about synthesis and alchemy, meets interesting people, and amplifies the feeling of exploration with the immense expansion of the world map!
The game will allow players to choose clothes among a large wardrobe to suit the environment. Characters will be better able to explore sunny areas when wearing cool clothes. Players will be able to collect new recipes, and in-game actions may give Firis a related recipe. The game’s item synthesis system will have “catalysts” that can be combined with normal item synthesis to produce powerful effects.”
