Atlus is still stringing its fans along by their toes with teases regarding their Persona 5 title coming in different forms. While we were initially teased about Persona 5 R back in December with a newly formed website, it appears Atlus has unveiled yet another teaser site for Persona 5 S.
The web page p5s.jp brings up a calling card which is used by the Phantom Thieves in the Persona 5 story. It also states “1 more information” followed by a date of April 25, 2019.
Another popular JRPG, Dragon Quest XI, has an upcoming ‘S’ title releasing with the ‘S’ standing for Switch. This could very well be the Persona 5 Switch announcement everyone has been anticipating. OR, maybe just more details regarding Joker’s upcoming appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
After a bit of digging, there also appears to be a hidden message (or ‘Calling Card’) within the web page’s source code. The code explains that “a new Phantom Thieves will turn the world’s cognition on its head” and “We are energized by voices that seek satisfaction”.
The Persona 5 R reveal just a couple of weeks ago introduced players to Persona 5: The Royal which looks as though it will introduce a new character to the Phantom Thieves. However, this new tease seems to be something different from The Royal. More information is also set to be revealed for The Royal on April 24, 2019.
With back-to-back dates set to reveal new Persona 5 information, it could be a very exciting couple of days for the Persona fan base. Be sure to stay tuned on what Atlus could be teasing with their mysterious websites.
