Barba – Hard Time Attack Speed Slaying Guide

Barba – Hard Time Attack Speed Slaying Guide

Barba is the sixth colossus you will be facing in Shadow of the Colossus and you will be tasked with killing him in under 6 minutes, which is not that hard to do if you follow our strategy. Once the fight begins, start running toward the back of the room. As you’re jumping over the three walls, Barba will be chasing after you and destroying everything that’s in his path. Once you get to the end of the room you will see a small platform with a star/circle symbol underneath a bunch of pillars. Get on top of it and stand there until Barba gets close. Be patient and wait until Barba kneels down and teases you with his awesome fluffy beard, then run and jump to grab on to his giant beard.

When you’ve clasped his beard, start climbing him toward the left side of his body/face and try to get to the top of his head. When you do, start stabbing his first sigil. Be careful when trying to regain your stamina, because he likes to shake a lot. When you’re done with destroying his first sigil, your next vital point will be behind his back on the left side as well. Get on top of his spine to regain stamina if you need and then slowly crawl your way down to his lower back to start the assault on his next sigil.

After this, you want to allow Wander to fall down onto to the ground and then run back to that star/circle symbol. Wait for Barba to kneel down again in order to destroy his final sigil, which is on his left hand. Once Barba kneels down, wait for him to put his left hand on the ground, jump on top of it, grab on to the fur, and then start stabbing it. You will most likely only be able to get one hit per shake, but it doesn’t matter because you have plenty of time to kill him, assuming you did not run into any problems. And that’s pretty much it.

Leonid Melikhov

Hello everyone, my name is Leo and I am the proud founder of Gaming Instincts. I've been working in the Gaming Industry for over 6 years professionally. However, in my recent times I have decided to go create a new path for myself and that path began with Gaming Instincts. I loves many different types of games genres including FPS, RTS, TPS, MMOs, Arcade Racers and many more. One of my favorite current developers is From Software the creators of the Soulsbourne games. My friends also thing I am crazy because I love trophy and achievement hunting on my PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. I always strive to obtain 100% completion including DLC on some of the hardest games that are out in the market. Most notable and proud 100%s are Evolve, Overwatch, Battleborn and both of the Evil Within titles. Over the course of my 6 year career I had the pleasure to speak to some of the biggest publishers and developers in the world including 343 Industries, Turn 10, Rare, Lionhead Studios, Naughty Dog, Ready at Dawn, Bungie, Activision, EA, Epic and many more. What does the future hold for me at Gaming Instincts and where shall we go? Only time will tell.
