Batman: Return to Arkham coming to PS4 & Xbox One on July 26

WB Games just announced the long anticipated HD re-released of two of last generation’s greatest titles with Batman: Return to Arkham. This HD remaster brings together Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, along with all of their released DLC. The game is set to hit PS4 and Xbox One on July 26th.

Batman: Return to Arkham had been long rumored to exist, thanks to multiple leaks, however we didn’t have official confirmation until today. None of the rumors pegged the release date correctly though, with some putting it even earlier than its final July release date. Along with the announcement came a new trailer, showing off the remastered versions of these two classic titles.

Batman: Return to Arkham will be available to play on the PS4 and Xbox One July 26.

Check out the Trailer:

“The games will be remastered using the Unreal Engine 4, according to a press release from the studio. The remastered versions will give players the chance to play the first two Batman titles in the Arkham series, including both Game of the Year editions, and access to all additional downloadable content.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment said that Batman: Return to Arkham will also include improved graphics, along with upgraded models and environments. Players will also notice an improvement in the game’s lighting, effects and shaders.”
