Batman: Return to Arkham will release in North America on October 18 and in the UK on October 21, Warner Bros has confirmed.
The new trailer is much longer than the average promotional clip seen in 2016 and there isn’t anything new to learn from this week’s Batman: Return to Arkham trailer, since everything in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City has been public knowledge for a few years now. There might be some fans who haven’t seen all of the post-launch DLC, particularly if you played the originals at launch, but there shouldn’t be many surprises in Batman: Return to Arkham .
The games have been rebuilt using Unreal Engine 4 by Virtuos, the lighting has improved dramatically. Other elements have been touched too, such as the level of texture detail and clutter and effects evident in the environments.
Batman: Return to Arkham will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 18.
Check out the Trailer:
“It’s a good collection, and the chance to play two excellent games again would have been greatly appreciated- but the problem was that Return to Arkham had been abruptly delayed earlier this year, with no new release date given. Warner Bros. insisted that the delay was because developer Virtuous needed more time to polish their work and deliver a polished Batman experience, but the abrupt nature, and the lack of any new release window, made people wonder if we were ever actually going to see the collection again.”
