Battlefield 1’s newly-revealed single player mode is due for release on October 21, but EA Access and Origin Access subscribers could be playing on their Xbox Ones and PCs as early as October and the campaign will take the form of an anthology of short stories, rather than the expected single character arc.
And today developers unveiled a first look at the opening mission, Storm of Steel, from the single player campaign.

The game is scheduled to be released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on October 21, 2016.
