Battlefield 2042 Hacks Already Being Sold By Cheaters

Despite the game not releasing till October it would appear that Cheaters are already taking to the internet, attempting to sell their exploits for Battlefield 2042. As spotted by CharlieIntel, a website already has an ad offering several exploits for the game. These are being advertised as “undetectable” cheats, and include aimbots, radar, and wallhacks.

The site goes on to boast that its 1.2 million registered users have never gone on to be banned from any Battlefield in the past. This of course is a dubious claim to make, and most likely unfounded, as the law of percentages dictates at least somebody would have been banned at some point. It is also hard to claim that these hacks have been proven undetectable when only a small handful of players in technical tests, and not in its day one version.

Despite all that, it is not shocking that cheaters are ramping up in preparation for the anticipated new title. Since its launch Call of Duty: Warzone, another popular shooter has been beset on all sides by cheaters. And in the case of Warzone, we can say that serval cheats including a “silent aim” bot were undetectable, though Activision is taking steps to deal with that as well. If there is a skill-based game, there will always be cheaters looking to capitalize.

This has also lead to concerns for the open beta coming in September. It would be a shame if what could be a great first look at the upcoming game from Dice devolves into aimbots and autokills. Not only would that not be fun, but it would also force the development team into a situation they might not yet be prepared for.

Battlefield 2042 will release on October 22, 2021, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
