Feral Interactive and Eidos-Montreal announced today that Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is now available for Linux through the Feral Store and Steam.
The year is 2029, and mechanically augmented humans have now been deemed outcasts, living a life of complete and total segregation from the rest of society. Now an elite covert agent, Adam Jensen is forced to operate in a world that has grown to despise his kind. Armed with a new arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations, he must choose the right approach, along with who to trust, in order to unravel a vast worldwide conspiracy.
Check out the Trailer:
“Feral Interactive today launched the Linux version of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided [official site] so you can put Jensen to shame while playing as him. Maybe don’t play while skateboarding without serious augmentation, though.
Mankind Divided’s Linux port is bopped up on Steam, coming free for everyone who already owns the game. Or, from another perspective, if you buy it for Linux you’ll get a Windows version too. Feral’s planned Mac version is still in the works, coming later.
The system requirements are over here. Curiously, it doesn’t “currently” support AMD graphics cards. And no, you can’t use the open-source Nvidia drivers as right now they “do not support a number of the graphical features used in the game”, Feral say.”
