Berserk and the Band of the Hawk Launching in February

Koei Tecmo has announced that its Berserk action game Berserk and the Band of the Hawk launches for the PS Vita and PS4 in North America on February 21, 2017 and in Europe on February 24, 2017.

The game will feature ‘approximately 120 minutes of cinematic footage’, which, to be frank, looks to be better animated than either of Berserk’s anime adaptations. It has a name now, too – Berserk and the Band of the Hawk.

Judging from the trailer, and the other promotions we’ve seen, this game is likely to deal with the rather traumatic ‘Eclipse’ event from the series at some point – which is to say that it’s likely to have some pretty intense content.

Check out the Trailer:

“Berserk and the Band of the Hawk will feature the trademark Warriors experience coupled with some features that will be unique to the game. Fans of the original manga and anime storyline will be able to play through most of the story arcs as well as experience some brand new events and interactions that never happened in the original story.

In true Warriors fashion, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk will also feature plenty of playable characters such as series’ protagonist Guts, his one time friend and nemesis Griffith, Nosferatu Zodd and many others, each one with his own unique fighting style which should make the experience more varied.”
