Bethesda Didn’t Called Skyrim Composer For The Elder Scrolls VI

Skyrim composer Jeremy Soule has explained in his Facebook page that’ Bethesda hasn’t involved him or called him to compose music for The Elder Scrolls VI, this has fans bit concerned because background music is one of the crucial aspects that makes a great game, and having worked with Bethesda with The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim his absence surely will be noticed.

“As so many of my fans have asked… While I’ve not said much about this out of courtesy to Bethesda, I would never turn my back on TES, and I believe that my involvement would hinge on a creative decision on their part and where they want to take the franchise,” the composer, Jeremy Soule, said. “To confirm, I am currently not involved with TES VI.”

Soule added that currently not being employed as the composer for The Elder Scrolls 6 doesn’t definitively meant that he won’t be composing music for the game in the future.

“As Bethesda have said, TES VI is still a long ways out. My non-involvement at this stage isn’t necessarily an indicator of anything foreboding,” Soule said. “But, whatever happens, it’s been a privilege for me to have made music for you with this series for all of these years!”

Jeremy Soule has composed soundtracks for over 60 games, notables compositions include Harry Potter series, Unreal II, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War among others, he has also won several awards.

Last work from Soule is a soundtrack for virtual reality game called The Gallery. Discussing the project on Facebook, Soule stated that he will “mostly will just work on VR from this point onward if it involves a game. Anything non-VR bores me.”
