BioWare Adds Online Player Hub to Anthem

BioWare Adds Online Player Hub to Anthem

Recently General Manager Casey Hudson shared a message on BioWare’s blog, tittled “One Month to Go” where he says that Anthem will be tweaked and modified to favor player’s desires, Hudson confirms that developers will continue to work on Anthem after its release, well Anthem has not released yet and this is now a reality as it’s confirmed the first change in Anthem following player’s request.

Lead Producer Michael Gamble has confirmed in a tweet that players will not have to go back Fort Tarsis after completing a mission, it’s now player’s decision whether to go Fort Tarsis or head to the new ‘Launch Bay’ which is an online lobby where players can meet other players and pick missions.

After a mission, you can head back to Tarsis and catch up with some of the amazing characters we’ve created for you…OR…head back to the brand new Launch Bay, hang out with your friends, use the forge, reload and grab a new contract. Yeah, we listened to you… details soon!

BioWare wants Anthem to last for a long time, as they are planning lots of updates and additional content to the game this was described by Casey Hudson in ‘One Month to Go’ and the best way to ensure that is to please fans and gave them what they want

Anthem will launch with a ton of content, including a substantial main story that introduces you to the world and its characters.  But there’s still a missing ingredient that we haven’t been able to test Anthem with: you.  So, over the next month as you start to have opportunities to try what we’ve created, I ask you to keep one thing in mind: The launch of Anthem is not the end – it’s the beginning of an ongoing story in which you are a critical element.  If there’s something you want more of, we can build it.  If something isn’t right, let us know.  And the story itself will unfold over time based on how you play the game.  Soon, we will reveal more about our plans for how we intend to support that ongoing stream of content and features.
