According to prominent Xbox leaker eXtas1s, Black Myth Wukong’s upcoming Xbox release has been indefinitely delayed due to a memory leak that caused several crashes and technical issues. Game Science is reportedly working on a fix for the issue but the port is otherwise almost finished. Game Science previously claimed that the Xbox release was delayed due to performance issues, but now, the release has been indefinitely delayed without a new release date. Black Myth: Wukong achieved a peak concurrent player count of 2,415,714 players on Steam, making it the most played single player game on the platform and the second highest concurrently played game on the platform. The game launched on August 20, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC. It’s worth noting this claim has yet to be confirmed by the developer.
