Compile Heart has released the second trailer and new information for its upcoming PlayStation 4 RPG Black Rose Valkyrie.
The story involves a strange new “Chimera Virus” that turns humans into inhuman “Chimera” monsters.
Japan responded to this by isolating itself from the rest of the world and created the Secret Military Service ACID, which founded the Special Forces Valkyrie (who can use the Chimera-fighting weapons).
The new information introduce’s the game’s setting, the Shinyamato Empire, and the Secret Military Agency ACID to which the protagonist Asashi Shiramine belongs.
The capital of the Empire is split into districts, including the Bureaucratic District, the First Citizen District, the Second Citizen District and the Old District.
We also see the Fujimino Air Base, the Hinuma Power Plant and the Heavy Industries Manufacturing Plant. The HQ of the anti-chimera unit ACID is also within the suburbs of the Imperial capital, and we get a glimpse on that as well.
Black Rose Valkyrie will release in Japan on June 30, 2016 for PlayStation 4.
