BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle 2.0 Revealed

Right after the BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Tournament during EVO 2019, Arc System Works unveiled some new information regarding the future of BBCTB.

Producer, Toshimichi Mori revealed that BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle version 2.0 is coming on November 21, 2019 along with a new balance update.

Two franchises will be added to the game in order to bring the characters from their series into the game. First is Senran Kagura Estival Versus will be bring ing in the leader fo the Gessen Girls’ Academy, Yumi. Akatsuki Blitzkampf will be entering the fray also with the protagonist Akatsuki and the game’s tank, the Blitztank.

If you don’t know, Akatsuki Blitzkampf is a game that launched on the PC in 2007 by Subtle Style.

Also another character from the RWBY series was announced, being the long-time silent character, Neo Politan. 5 more characters have yet to be announced for the game, so we’ll have to wait for a future announcement.

The new expansion pack will be $24.99 and will add a new story scenario. The patch will be make it so you don’t have to buy any of the DLC and just fight against these characters.

Also on top of that, Arc System Works is working on other announcements for their games, possibly something about a new Guilty Gear.

Also the winner of the BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle EVO 2019 is Shinku, who defeated Kyamei in the final round.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is available for the PS4, Switch, and PC.
