During the Blizzcon 2018, Blizzard announced the upcoming release date for the major update of their hit MMORPG, World of Warcraft, entitled World of Warcraft: Tides of Vengeance. World of Warcraft fans can expect the update to hit on December 11th 2018 along with a healthy dose of content that comes with it.
The update includes new content including the Battle of Dazar’alor raid, the Battle for Darkshore Warfront, one notable feature of one of the raids is that for the first time, the Horde and Alliance will be able to join forces to conquer such raid. Tides of vengeance will feature new locations and smaller scale raids as well.
The main scenario content of this update involves the Night Elves as a focus point of the story, and the retaliation of the alliance against the horde for burning down their home during the last pre-patch of the game.

The focus of the panel was on the new Warfront, which takes place in the Night Elf-centric area of Darkshore. Blizzard showed off a cutscene surrounding the Warfront which depicts a Horde squad being brutalized by Malfurion Stormrage and other Druids. In the Warfront, Alliance players will aid Malfurion and Tyrande as they fight to reclaim their homeland and stop the Horde from pillaging and burning their forest.
Tides of Vengeance will also offer players new islands to explore and a second, smaller raid coming at a later date. Alliance players will fight back later this year, and both factions will go head to head in the Battle for Dazar’alor raid in early 2019.
